Our providers will generally treat your problem during the same visit. Conditions that require surgical or cosmetic treatment may or may not be treated on the same day as the initial appointment.

All appointments vary in time depending on circumstances for your visit. Each appointment will begin with a medical assistant reviewing your medical history. For general dermatology conditions and consultations, appointments can take from 10 to 15 minutes. For surgical dermatology, appointments can take from 30-45 minutes. For cosmetic dermatology, appointments can take from 15 minutes to an hour. For Mohs surgery, length of appointment time generally varies between 2-3 hours.  Your provider will discuss timing for longer appointments, such as surgeries and cosmetic procedures, prior to scheduling the appointment.

Many insurance companies require a referral prior to a visit. Please make every effort to check with your insurance company before you come to your appointment.

Many of our retail products are HSA/HRA/FSA eligible. Check out our updated list. As always, it is a good idea to check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility.

You will need to bring a valid photo ID (e.g. driver’s license), proof of health insurance (if applicable), and a payment method.  If you have not already completed our registration forms online, you will need to bring them with you or allow enough time prior to your appointment to complete them. Please see our full appointment policy for details.

Every person has different concerns about his/her appearance. We offer many different options to meet our patients’ needs. To provide you with a customized treatment plan and financial quote, schedule a cosmetic consultation with our esthetician.

Cosmetic consultations are designed for our patients to receive cosmetic treatment and skin care recommendations based on a thorough assessment of the patient’s skin, goals, budget and unique needs. During the consultation we will obtain a patient’s health history and will perform a clinical evaluation of the skin to determine which treatment options are the best fit. We can customize a treatment plan and/or skin care regimen. Important pre- and post-treatment instructions will also be provided to accompany most treatments. In order to optimize desired results, it is important to follow the plan and all instructions provided. Cosmetic consultations with the dermatologists will incur a fee of $125.00. Virtual and in-person consultations with the esthetician will incur a fee of $75. The $75 fee can be used as a credit toward cosmetic treatments and products.
