Silagen can be an effective scar treatment and prevention line for hypertrophic scars, burn scars, keloids, and abnormal scarring. The proprietary blend of silicones rapidly dry to form a medical-grade silicone barrier that is flexible and lightweight. The protective layer creates an environment which allows the scar to mature through normalized collagen synthesis cycles. This may significantly improve the physiological and cosmetic appearance of the scar. This specialized gel with SPF 30 can help protect scars from hyperpigmentation caused by UV exposure.
Begin use once sutures are removed or when the wound has naturally closed. Apply a small amount to the affected area and gently massage. Do not use under silicone sheeting or strips (they will stick and an additional silicone product is not necessary). Allow to dry before applying other skin care products. For best results, apply twice daily for 8-12 weeks. Those prone to raised scarring may continue treatment up to six months.

Looks really white at first but blended in fine. Not sure how much sunlight my eyelids get but that’s where I’m using it.

Does a nice job helping the scar heal on my face, the SPF 30 is a nice added feature especially for me because I had skin cancer on my face

I had no irritation with this on my eyelids after eyelid surgery. And this turned out to be a really good sunscreen around my eyes where other sunscreens have caused stinging and redness.

I thought this would feel like the Silagen gel without spf but it’s quite a bit different. I hope it’ll work as well.
