Silagen can be an effective scar treatment and prevention line for hypertrophic scars, burn scars, keloids, and abnormal scarring. The proprietary blend of silicones rapidly dry to form a medical-grade silicone barrier that is flexible and lightweight. The protective layer creates an environment which allows the scar to mature through normalized collagen synthesis cycles. This may significantly improve the physiological and cosmetic appearance of the scar. This convenient twin pack includes Silagen 100% Pure Scar Gel and Silagen SPF 30 Gel.
Begin use once sutures are removed or when the wound has naturally closed. Apply a small amount to the affected area and gently massage. Do not use under silicone sheeting or strips (they will stick, and an additional silicone product is not necessary). Allow to dry before applying other skin care products. For best results, apply twice daily for 8-12 weeks. Those prone to raised scarring may continue treatment up to six months.

This has worked really well on my eyelid scars. Surprisingly makeup goes over it fine.

The spf seems fine but it doesn’t have the same feel as the regular silicone. I think the regular silicone works better so I’d rather put sunscreen over that.

These are working well but they feel very different from each other which I wasn’t expecting – the plain one is clear and the spf one is white.
